Gnat Control

"Gnat" covers a few tiny flies, but indoors the usual culprit is the fungus gnat, the little dark fly that drifts up out of overwatered houseplant soil and hovers near windows. They breed in the moist top layer of potting soil, feeding on fungus and decaying roots.
Other gnats come in from damp organic matter, drains, and overripe produce. They're harmless but maddening in numbers, and they multiply fast in moisture. Control means drying out and treating the breeding sites, usually closer than you'd think.
Know the Signs
Gnats are tied to moisture and decaying organic matter. Here's where they come from.
Fungus gnats breed in the damp top layer of overwatered potting soil and rise up when you water.
Sink drains and chronically moist areas breed gnats out of sight.
Gnats drift toward windows and lighting, where you'll notice them collecting.
Like fruit flies, some gnats are drawn to fermenting fruit and organic residue.
Our Approach
We pinpoint where the gnats are breeding, plant soil, drains, or damp organic residue, and treat those sources directly, then knock down the adults swarming your living space. We'll give you simple watering and moisture fixes so they don't come back. Everything is eco-friendly and family- and pet-safe, so it's safe around your plants, kitchen, and family.

Frequently Asked Questions
Absolutely. Every product we use is eco-friendly and chosen specifically for family and pet safety. We apply it in targeted areas, and your kids and pets can return once it has dried, usually within 30-60 minutes.
Cut off the moisture and breeding sites. For fungus gnats, let houseplant soil dry out more between waterings, they can't breed in dry soil. Clean out drains and fix damp spots, and don't leave overripe produce out. We treat the active sources, but managing the moisture is what keeps them from returning, since gnats live and breed wherever it stays wet.
We serve the entire Wasatch Front from Ogden to Spanish Fork, plus mountain communities including Park City and Heber City. If you're unsure whether we cover your area, just give us a call, chances are we do.
